Peek-a-boo!
The timing for me to get Tyler to Preschool will allow Timmy to take the bus on those mornings, so Timmy had a first today too. He got a little shy at the bus stop, but he never looked back at me once the bus pulled up! Tyler and I followed the bus a little on our way out of the neighborhood, when we made our turn, Tyler called out, "Bye bye Timmy!"
Tyler and I arrived early enough for a few more pictures.
And we have to wash his hands every morning before going to his room.
Tyler did not hesitate to walk into the room and Ms. Liz showed him where to hang up his bag.
And he got right to work!
When I told Tyler that I was leaving, he used his dissapointed voice and said, "Okay, bye bye Mommy..." but he didn't really seem to mind, I thought that was very nice of him to pretend for me. Today and Friday are called phase in days, so the kids only go to school with half of their class, and only for an hour and ten minutes. Tyler was not ready to leave! He was showing me all of the food in the kitchen when Ms Sue came over and said that Tyler had been very busy checking everything out and had even been painting. Tyler ran over to the easel and made two more paintings before he agreed to leave!
Tyler did just as well when he met Ms Sue and Ms Liz last week. I think he was a little nervous when we pulled up, I kept telling him, "This is Tyler's school now!" and he asked, "You come Mom, too?" When I told him that I was coming in I got one of his, "Yay Mom! You're the best!" that I have got to get on video sometime! Once inside, he got right down on the floor to play, was talking up a storm, and didn't want to leave. Ms. Sue was the assistant teacher in Timmy's 2's class, and she keeps telling me how excited she is to have Tyler, and how blessed I am to have two great boys. I think Tyler will be having a great year!
