Timmy 3 Years 9 Months

March is flying by, I'm over a week late on Timmy's monthly update already.  My big boy's 3 years, 9 months occurred on Saint Patrick's Day.  We didn't do much for St. Patty's day at home besides wear green, but Timmy's school did several things.  Timmy can spot a shamrock a mile away now!  They tried to catch a leprechaun with some lucky charms, but instead the leprechaun made a big mess and tried to steal the gold they had made (out of rocks, paint, and loooots of glitter!)  There was also lots and lots of green artwork coming home for a few weeks, and they had show and tell where they brought in a green item.  Timmy was so excited about his item!

Timmy is truly so grown up.  He is playing wonderfully with Tyler, who is starting to insist Timmy pay attention to him, by getting to all of his toys and even crawling right on top of Timmy!  When Timmy does need some uninterrupted play time he will go downstairs to his play room for a while.  He is usually more then happy to have a constant playmate though.  Recently if Timmy wanders up to his room, when I poke my head in to check on him he'll be in his bed "reading" himself books.  I love it!  He is starting to ask more questions about what words say and also starting to associate sounds with their letters.

Timmy has been playing the Disney Land Kinect game for a while and Tim recently bought him Wipe Out and another Disney game to play.  I am amazed at how well he is able to play these games on his own, how much stamina and coordination he has, and how long his attention span is!  He will literally play for hours on end!  It is a fun way for all of us to spend an evening!

Here is one more picture from St. Patty's Day, just because this butt (and these thighs) are too cute not to share!
