Timmy is another month older, and both boys birthdays seem to be starting to sneak up on us! Timmy is really growing up on me. We took our big boy to Disney on Ice last Thursday and we all had a great time. We got there a little early and Timmy waited very patiently for the show to start. He also showed that he's growing up when he did not throw any fits even though we didn't buy him the sword he wanted, or the shaved ice he wanted (we weren't being mean, but shave ice is not something we will ever pay for again!) We did get him Mickey Ears with cotton candy and had brought some of his favorite snacks instead.
The show was really good, it kind of alternated between abbreviated versions of some of the movies and doing single songs from some of the movies. It kept Timmy's interest the whole time, even the movies that he didn't really know.
I was surprised afterwards when he told us his favorite part was Pinocchio and how they escaped the whale! It was really a fun evening. The next morning I got a text from Tim that said, "Last night was fun. We are good parents." I happen to agree. ;)
