When we met Bryce Harper last July and looked at our pictures, Tim declared the group picture of us with Harper was our Christmas card. I disagreed. But when none of this year's Santa pictures jumped out at me to use, I reevaluated. It was a great picture of the four of us with one of the biggest athletes of the year, so I changed my mind. I always spend most of November searching for perfect Christmas morning PJ's too and the goal is to get a great posed picture of the kids in front of the tree in them in advance. I was prepared for picture time, Timmy was willing to be a good participant because he was bribed with picking out any treat he wanted, but Tyler was completely uninterested. He was bawling and pushing Timmy away. Luckily, Timmy and I both thought that was pretty funny!
Then there was this fantastic shot! Except that Timmy is out of focus... I admittedly have a hard time getting them to both look at me and smile while I'm hiding behind the giant camera, but when I peak out from behind the focus gets screwed up. :(
In the end I got a usable picture of them both.
And this was our final product!
Tim tweeted the card to Bryce Harper and Bryce's sister. No comment from Bryce, but his sister retweeted it to Bryce again and said, "My brother will love this!" So we feel like he approved! :)
