Standing???

Well, Timmy has a new trick, as of yesterday he can pull himself up to a standing position! He managed to do this in his crib and against the baby gate, repeatedly, last night. We have enjoyed having the happiest, easiest going baby ever so far, but I'm afraid he's about to turn into a handful! He's growing up way too fast!!!!

8 Months Old and places to go!

So Timmy spent his 8 month birthday officially crawling. He's been on the verge for awhile but last Friday he took his first real 'crawls' (?) trying to follow me into the kitchen. It took me a moment to realize the movement at my ankles wasn't one of our pets! So far Timmy's favorite things to crawl to are wires and chords, followed closely by cell phones and the remote control, and then to anything else he shouldn't be playing with. We will finally be doing that serious baby proofing this weekend!

I have noticed in the last few days that Timmy is looking like a big boy, some of these pictures he looks way too grown up for my liking!

7 Months Old

Well Timmy is keeping us very entertained with his attempts at crawling. He is getting sooo close, he gets up on his hands and knees and rocks, but he hasn't figured out the moving part quite yet, well, at least the moving forward part! He is definitely getting around with a combination of rolling and inch worming. Baby proofing is not far off! For his 7 month birthday we went to celebrate his cousin Dylan's 2nd birthday and Timmy got to spend the evening playing with all the other kids.

Christmas!

We had a wonderful Christmas this year and really enjoyed sharing the first one with Timmy. While he really had no idea what was going on, he did meet Santa a few times and had no problem sitting on his lap. He also got the hang of opening presents, although he really preferred chewing on the bits of wrapping paper he tore off more then he liked most of the presents!

We went to Ohio for 2.5 days before Christmas, which allowed us to take Timmy to my dad's family's Christmas Eve party, where he got to be the only baby, though his almost three year old twin cousins were there. Next year we're hoping his slightly older cousin, Jayce, will be there, and he's got a new cousin being born in February this year, so he will have to share Santa's attention a little more!

Christmas morning we opened presents at our house before heading to each of his Grandparents houses and Timmy definitely raked in a pile of goodies! It was great being able to see all of our family for Christmas and I already can't wait til next year when he will have a little more of an idea what's going on!

Jenny & Brett's Wedding

Well, Jenny and Brett gave us an extra hectic December this year by giving us one week's notice that they were going to get married on December 21st! You'll see from the pictures that Jenny managed to pull together a complete wedding in that amount of time (I will claim credit for a few items, if I don't get my architecture license by June maybe I'll try a new career as a Wedding Coordinator/Photographer!) The Bride was beautiful, the Groom gave us all a good laugh during the vows, and everyone had a great time! Plus I got to put Timmy in a tuxedo! Congratulations again Jenny and Brett!!!

Timmy's Baptism

On November 30th we had Timmy baptized at Floris United Methodist Church. We had a large crowd of family and friends there to celebrate with us which made it even more special. His Godfather, Billy Clancy, joined us on stage for the baptism. His Godmother, Nicole Fahey, wasn't able to be there because she is teaching in Saudi Arabia for a few years! We will get to see her next week though!

After the ceremony we had a brunch reception at Elena's house and got to spend some more time visiting with everyone. It was a really nice way to finish off Thanksgiving weekend!
